Did it pop up 1 inch when you pulled the cable?
If so, it has a secondary latch like all cars in the front. If it wont pop up at all, try having someone push down on it while you try to pull the cable. If THAT does not work, the cable is broken or stuck, and you have to remove the front bumper. You will find a hole that you can access the latch with a screwdriver. Stu |

How 'bout you grab a flashlight, turn it on, and get down there and look at it? It's a little "paddle" thingy just under the lip of the hood, and you lift on it. Might have to give the hood a gently up-and-down wiggle to get it to come free.

Not much unlike unhooking a Bra, the first time you have to peek.. With practice, you can do it with one hand. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |
