This is definitely a nice clean track car, but a little overpriced IMHO.
Are the extra bends in the cage attachments to the body legal? This doesn't look like the most optimal way to do it. The 911 dash looks good, but it kinda makes the dash look crowded. He should have taken some pictures with the panels removed and/or the trunk, engine lid, and hood open. -Britain SPECS: - 914 (1973) driven less 2500 miles on newly rebuilt body. Motor has aprox 28,000 miles - Porsche 3.2 liter Flat 6 motor installed with all oem parts minus air box, as the chassis does not require smog with custom aluminum exhaust system. (280-plus HP) - 0-60 in 3.2 seconds ( if you can shift really fast) - Approx weight is 2075lbs - Front and Rear brakes are from early 911 (the big brakes) vented rotors - Cobra Suzuki style Carbon fiber/Kevlar seats built to withstand up to 60 g's of lateral force. - Sheridan Modular racing body with removable components for easy access to suspension and front end areas. - Complete custom install of 911 dash assembly from 914, now has 5 gauge cluster. - 15 point, full body roll cage, with removable lateral door bars. - Front and rear Suspension is triple reinforced, all mounts are reinforced as well. - Rear Trailing arms are boxed-reinforced - Front and rear anti roll bars, adjustable - Front struts are Koni (from 911 turbo) rears are Billstien shocks with Coil-overs - Has Emergency electrical cut off required for SCCA and other sanctioned racing classes. - Wheels are 17X40r X (rear 285) (front 255) Kinesis forged aluminum three piece. - Car was painted in a complete torn down state, all surfaces are painted the same color. QUOTE(acox914 @ Sep 14 2004, 10:39 PM) is that a cable shifter setup (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) yeah! it's that really tricked out one that uses a shift rod instead of cables ... nice car, too expensive and you would for sure spend more than the $35k to replicate it. now go and make sense of the sentence above ...
