on my 73 ive gotten steering wheel off,turn signal wiper switch out,two screwss at igniton switch,put key in tumbler to on,but cant get tumbler to come out.what do i do?

Have you unplugged the rear electrical ?
From the Pelican tech article: Now, unplug the rear, electrical portion of the ignition switch. At this point, you should be able to insert your key, twist, and pull out the entire assembly, as shown in Figure 11. Hope that helps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) that did it,got the switch out,i did not realize the whole metal cylinder with switch on end comes out,had to use a bit of pulling force.thanks for your help. |
