With all this talk of Mark rebuilding racks makes me wonder how to check out mine. So how would I do it? The amount of wear on this part isn't a lot as there's not a lot of actual movement. While in place the bushings will wear, and the bearings will get crud in them. You really can't see the movement until you remove, so at that time your're already there. I'm going to do these on an exchange basis with the rack shipped out and you can put the old one in the box when done and use the call tag to return. The core will be less the return shipping. Cores will be about $150 to encourage returns. But we wil make it as easy as putting it into a bag and calling fedex for return. Just finishing up the new rubber on the ends. |
