Hi,

Need some expert advice.

I purchased some new brake lines. Now I am trying to replace the center line down the tunnel. Can this be done without opening up the tunnel?

Thanks!

There is a junction under the cover at the rear of the center tunnel that separates, there are holding tabs inside the tunnel that need to be pulled away, then the long straight comes out the front next to the master cylinder and the short piece at the rear comes out from the engine bay side, it takes some wiggling and patience but it will come out the back at the right angle.
you might need a mirror to see all the tabs inside the tunnel.

There is a cover between the seats under the change tray/ center seat it just has a philips screw holding it on.
