anyone weld ball joint style a arms on early 911-912 a arms without hole for ball joints(whatever that is called)? I, the 911 a arms with the fat diagonal bar but no hole looks much more solid than our stock 914 a arms |

has anyone welded the a arm part with the hole onto the 911 912 early style a arms with no hole in them for a ball joint? it almost looks doable the a arms look much more of a stylish design? I know this sounds sort of wacko I just like the look of those a arms and want the fatter diagonal tube?

I am just as guilty of having these sorts of ideas. But as one over-thinker to another, step away from the welder and try to worry less about the aesthetics of your a-arms.
Unless you plan on having your car upside down a lot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |
