I'm looking for a manufacturer of racing wheels that is reasonably priced and will do custom offsets...I want to stuff larger diameter and wider wheels under my fenders...
Anyone have good luck with a supplier? thanks, Bill |

Iff'n I was looking for some custom wheels, I'd look to:
Diamond Road Race Wheels for steelies or Lindsey Racing Fuchs for fuchs-based. If you have lots money, Wheel Enhancement has custom wheels by HRE, Fikse and Kinesis. If you're just looking for 17's, Revolution makes a wheel I like Revolution RZX that fits stock fendered 914's and can be ordered wider for flares. I think they look great. They may be a bit "ricer" for some: 914 with Revolution RZX wheels Gary |

I'm pretty sure those are 205's, which are the widest typically stuffable in stock fenders. The low profile makes them look wider.

I like the way they look too...but they only go to 17x8's....I'm looking for a 10" wide rim....
Thanks anyway... Bill |

Lindsey or Wheel Enhancement should be able to help in 17X10's.

I'm afeared that reasonable price and custom p-car wheels are mutually exclusive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Custom wheel prices are high. I'm looking for 17" or 18" to try. Wheel Enhancement suggests Fik$e, BB$ or Kine$i$. I found a company called Kodiak that has much more reasonable pricing...but I've never heard of them.
I'm still trying to figure a way to afford a larger diameter wheel set...but it may be cost prohibitive... JP...what have you found? Bill |

You can do a search for Keizer wheels, they make a 3 piece wheel that can be any offset etc...
You can try looking at grassroots also....herb |

If you're looking for cheap...
Either a set of those immitation cup wheels or a set of AZEV's They're prolly on the heavy side (cast wheels) and are nothing to boast about with your racer friends, but I bet you can get a used set for about 400 to 500 bucks A plus is that they come in pre '90 911 offsets, so you don't need to mess about with spacers (as you would have to with most "stockish" wheels) cheers, Jeroen |
