Driving the car home last night with the gas gauge reading 1/2 full my car all of a sudden sputtered and stalled like it ran out of gas!! I went to the gas station got a gallon of gas and it still would not start.
Is there anything special I should know, to try to get this to start? could I have blown a fuel injector?? Is maybe a gallon not enough in the tank and I need to add a couple more?? Any suggestions would help!! By the way its a 1973 1.7 with D-Jet injection |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) all the above.
also, IF you ran out of gas, your fuel filter is most likely plugged with crap now that had been sitting on the bottom of your tank. you needa change the filter first. again, that's IF you actually ran out of gas. Andy |
