I have plenty of ammo cans, some left over RaaMat sound deadener. I'd need speakers, an amp, minijack hookups and some sort of power supply. I can't imagine that it would be hard. I think this is cool, but it is not $600 pounds cool. Not when I can make one myself. Help me find the components to make one. The box pictured uses a 70 watt amp, and a battery pack to be mobile. I think I'd rather be able to plug it in, but having batteries would be nice for backup. Zach |

And... the front side of the case is done.
I drilled the speaker mounting holes and got them mounted in. Looks pretty damn cool if I do say so myself. I wish the amp was here so I could build it. I could have been testing it out by Sunday! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm5.static.flickr.com-1435-1268538597.1.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm5.static.flickr.com-1435-1268538598.2.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/farm5.static.flickr.com-1435-1268538598.3.jpg) Well, what do you all think of the face? I have some OD paint to touch up the rest of the case, but I am not sure that I want to do that. I kind like the old patina on the rest of it. Next task will be to make the amp, mount it somewhere, and figure out a way to mount the battery pack so that it can be changed as needed. But I can't do that until the amp is built and in place.
