How is your pump mounted?. Here is mine, a Holley. It sounds like a coffee grinder, doesn't have the 3 second shutoff feature of the stock pump, and is louder than the engine itself @ idle.

Hi guys!
This will be multi part rather than download 3 pic's together. Verrrry interesting. Not sure if you can tell from this pic, but installer built a whole new flat firewall. Picture the indentations behind the seats on the stock setup..they are gone. Advantage is more room in engine compart for the alternator and external water pump(it's much easier to work on than the 4). But it's just flat steel. Hit it and it sounds like a Jamaican steel band!! And besides the noise, lost about 4 inches in seat adjustment. I know 4 inches doesn't sound like much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) but could use the extra leg room. Will either beat it to death or get thinner seats and something to deaden the sound.
