Benno,
Does it make sense to export the California cars to EU? Is there a real market? While generally in better shape here, many have been 'improved' by their owners. Carbs replacing FI, wider wheels, later suspension, etc. They are not cars for purists, but are fun drivers. Can we make some money and preserve the breed at the same time? I know a bunch of old SL's and early V8 MB coupes and converts have headed back. Are any smog/safety regulations waived on older cars? |
