How is your pump mounted?. Here is mine, a Holley. It sounds like a coffee grinder, doesn't have the 3 second shutoff feature of the stock pump, and is louder than the engine itself @ idle.

Have done more reading on this and some early Renegade conversions apparently did 'adjust' firewall. Looks like the only thing close is water pump, and mounting was fixed on later ones to avoid this. Doesn't seem that suspension/tranny was relocated. Will get in touch with Renegade and learn more. FW is already carpeted; no back panel. Only place in interferes with seat adjustment is very top of seat back. Any suggestions on firewall sound deadening/insulation material? Howard |
