Getting ready to refinish an engine bay
How difficult /dangerous to pull torsion bars ....Heard deck lid needs to be removed...If I just unbolt do rods explode......or am I making this bigger deal than it is. TIA Terry |

lots of pressure.
Remove the trunk lid. Use a long deep 10mm socket on a 6 inch extension. Slip the socket onto the end of the spring, unhook it and ease it back all the way to the end of the pocket. Then unbolt them both. Rich |
