Just bought a 916 transmission kit from Martin for my 86 915 trans. Can anyone recommend a shop in Southern Cal to install it?

In case you want pictures, here's a link to Martin's thread in the vendor section.

Steve,

By chance would you be willing to share with us what your kit, delivered to your door cost??, given the current exchange rate, and shipping. It's been almost a couple of years since Martin put the kits out.

When I get a chance I will dig up the receipts, but it was around $3k delivered.
$3k is the tip of the ice berg.
-used 915 gear box $1k
-Cost to overhaul 915? $3k-5k parts and labor.
-LSD $1500
-Electric speedo conversion?
-new clutch assembly
-new flywheel?
-etc
-etc
Probably close to $10k when done.
