Saw a '75 914 door sticker VIN that starts 53520 instead of the usual 475xx. What's that about?

The GVWR is all wrong too.
Looks like you may have recovered someone's stolen vehicle that was cloned with possibly another VIN. Possibly a Scirocco? |
