1972-1973 914 Porsche 1.7L long block.Out of the three engine sizes this is the rare of them that I've found out on some different websites. **It will help to use it for stock motor replacement OR !!! **BUILD BIG it can be built bigger then a VW BUG OR BEETLE MOTOR CAN. IT CAN HANDLE MORE THEN A BUG MOTOR OR BEETLE MOTOR CAN!!! Best thing about it is that it does take much to get it to fit a VW BUG OR BEETLE!** So why start small???
I went by the ENGINE I.D. # to get the correct info on the motor. Its STILL GOOD! I AM ABLE TO TURN IT OVER AND HEAR THE COMPRESSION BUILD UP INSIDE THE BLOCK IN THE BARRELS OF EACH CYLINDER!
