I went out and started my blue 914 this morning and it runs perfect (to me) as long as the oil filler cap is Off it runs GREAT.
I'm guessing that it should'nt be blowing air out of the oil filler hole but it is, there is no color to it just plain ole air. We know I can't run it with no oil filler cap so whats the fix?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

QUOTE(Levi @ May 29 2004, 11:10 PM) Well I'm not sure what your trying to tell me. what i am trying to tell you is that there are two versions of what skline calls the "2.0L Filler Box". see picture below ... you have to take the whole box off (snap on spring) and look at the underside. where the red arrow is pointed you'll either see : 1. one or more holes with very visible metal mesh behind 2. a PCV valve if you have the PCV valve AND the hose is connected to the TB AND it's only running good when you remove the cap, your PCV valve is STUCK!
