We missed you Randal. While its not a 914 here is my 370z headed up the hill. It was fairly quick car. With no seat time in the car for nearly three months I drove very conservatively but car was still pretty quick!

You could hear Dave (on the corner 5 straight) saying something, before he got cut off, to the same effect. Hook up that power out of the corners and you'll be in the low teens. |

Yeah I was really soft pedaling out of turns Sunday as on Saturday I almost lost the car several times with spins. I was also very spooked in the car as I hadnt driven it for over 2 months. I only drove it on the street a couple days before heading up. Nothing like finding limits at a hillclimb! Funny Im working on the new tire and wheel setup right now. 18x12 rear with 335 Hoosier rear and my current rear tire/wheel on the front. Having good body guy work on a stock looking flare for the car. That 335 rear on 12 is the same size setup as the GT2 and Zo6 were using. I was amazed my car was so close to those guys after seeing how fast they were. Both running opposite heat of me. Both were able to get on power earlier and both had more power than me. I really enjoy this phase of developing a car. Im starting to get it wired now! I will definitely be doing 2 to 3 hillclimbs next year. Im going to make this car a OSPO contender. Well heck I won my class but had SS and SSP cars beat me! Funny as it sounds I still need more power for when I have car pointed straight. Im going to focus on weight loss too as its sitting at 3050 lbs. I want to get it to 2800 by next season. Argh thats going to be work! |
