The engine I'm taking apart has 94mm euro pistons in it. Would there be any difference using 96mm flat tops? I mean would there be any seat of the pants feeling?

Displacement versus compression. Good question. If you have 96 flat tops, you can build compression in the head and have the best of both worlds. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
