I picked up a set of 951 Fuchs today, 7&8 x 16. They are ugly, which is fine by me as I would like to have them blasted and do an RSR finish.
Search tells me that they have been fit to narrow body cars, but I would like to know what must be done in the rear to make them fit. I would also appreciated pictures and get some insight on tire sizing as well as ideas for spacers for the front. Thanks, Ken |

i tried to fit 8-&-10 x18 turbo twists under my flared GT - NO-GO
the later wheels have much more offset toward the chassis - even with huge spacers it could not be done |

Later 944 turbos had the late offset which is much deeper and won't work on a narrow body 914. To be honest, my favorite Porsche wheel is the cup, but the only option for those in an early offset are repros which are crazy heavy. |
