I was doing very well with my conversion, until installing the shift rod. It's touching the headers. What did I miss?
New shift rod? |

From my understanding, the rod must be straight , no curves? In my experience having a curve in it make the plunging action better at the rear shift console I left a small curving in mine and it works well but it was harder to get the curve in the correct spot so it didn't hit the header!
