I'm not a good enough driver to race & I'm old & too fat to get slammed around in a car, so I've never posted here before. However, in looking for ethanol free gas for my 6, with triple 40 mm webbers, I found the gas warehouse 8 miles away from me sells alcohol free racing gas @ 110 octane for $8.17/gal.
#1: how do you guys afford this? #2: is this a good price? Just curious to see what everyone else pays. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

Ethanol free 93 octane at local Farmer's Supply called Southern States (in Virginia) is basically $3.85/gallon. Farmers want the corn subsidy but not the ethanol hassles in their equipment which might sit for 6-9 months and then need to work.
Race fuel at the track is $9.00 per gallon.... Just noticed that you're in the heart of ethanol free in Virginia....seems like nearly every town in the Shenandoah Valley has a station with it.....here's a link..... http://pure-gas.org/?stateprov=VA |
