Hi, Everybody,

Just thinking to restore my 914 but getting confused and don't know what to do. Would someone with the experience who can give me some advise. Thanks.

A 1) What is the pro and con between Strip-Cleaning VS plastic(Bead)-blasting ?
2) What will be the approximately cost of Strip-Cleaning?
3) What will be the cost of plastic-blasting?

5) Or may be near by in Seattle, WA?

C) 6)The procedures or steps in doing it right after stripping or blasting--------eg: stripping,then body work, then anti-rust proof, undercoating (primer), painting, engine & accessaries fitting, wet sanding....etc...????

Just trying to preserve a 914.

Are you doing just the exterior or the whole car? Media blasting will get everywhere. If you're just doing the outside it might be okay, but never media strip a full car or you will be finding the grit every time you drive your car. SirAndy had his car done like 2 years ago and is still finding sand everytime. Search for blasting to read some good threads.
