Porsche 915 transmission with ring and pinion flipped for mid engine application. Converted to side shifter with a Vellios kit. I was planning on using it in my 914 project but now am using a Subaru engine and transmission. Internals look like new. Not sure of gear ratio's. Price is $3000 OBO.

Thanks for the info. Solo racer stated that it's an open diff a few posts ago? Maybe the lsd was pulled out in the rebuild?

Maybe the lsd was pulled out in the rebuild? ..no worries, actually I was side tracked as when folks mention ZF, they are referring to the ZF LSD the was the main stay of LSD found in the cars up to the SC and Carrera with the 915 in 86. After that, I see LSD made in the UK and who knows where else. Yes, the original poster did not mention that this trans has a open diff. Sorry for the confusion. |
