Can someone tell me what kind of transaxle they are using with their six's? Tail shift or 911 trans or what!

IMHO 2.0-2.7 use stock six 2.0 flywheel with a 914-4 side shift
3.0 use kep stage 2 flywheel and clutch with 914-4 side shift trans. 3.2 and 3.6 use kep stage 2 flywheel and clutch with 914-4 side shift trans baby 1st gear or use 915/916 trans. Expensive but worth it. My 914 came with a stock 2.0 four. I then upgraded to a 2.7 with webers and then jumped to a 3.2. The 914 trans was fine with the 2.7, but I was not happy with the 914-4 trans gearing with the 3.2 so I switched to a 915 that matched my motor. |
