I have a set of 7x16 Fuchs from a 911 SC that I plan to put on my '72 narrow body car. I realize there may be some fender lip rolling and possible fender pulling needed. My question is how much more difficult will a 205/55 be compared to a 205/50 tire for the rear fender clearance. Has anyone tried fitting both these sizes? The appeal of the 55 series tire is it's very close to the original tire diameter and will have a more accurate speedo reading and a little lower RPM's on the highway. Any thoughts on this.
I have done a number of searches but not found anything addressing this question. |

I ran 215/45's on 7x16" fuchs. Only rolled lips & no fender pulling. I did have my rear camber in a bit too. Was tight but fit
