Check out the closeup pic of the vin tag in the windshield. Notice anything odd?

Also, unless I remember wrong, in '73 the door hardware such as the window winder
and the door pull surround piece were still metal, not black plastic. There should not be things like this on a '35K mile' car. It doesn't make sense. |

There should not be things like this on a '35K mile' car. It doesn't make sense. Plastic on my '73, but a metal surround on the crank. The one in the picture for the listed car is all black plastic. Any chance that more than one type of crank was used? Here's my car: In looking around, I think Rich is correct. So black for both of those on a '73 is probably correct. You have the chrome crank that is on early cars, but we've already seen how porsche doesn't always change things at the beginning of a model year (US). |
