I think that they focused too much on only the early & less desirable 914/4 1.7Ls & 914-6s - but not on what the more in demand 73-74 914-2.0s & even the 75-76 2Ls - which have been trading recently in the $20-35K+ range by Hagarty's own values.
The result is the impression that there's only the 70K+ -6s & 4's in the teens, which is not the reality! Heck, with the recent appreciation of 73 2Ls, I may not be or not too far upside down on my resto/repair by the time it's done!
