If you are the sort of person that likes to get up early, what time do you usually start browsing 914world?
The reason i'm asking, i'm thinking about adding a daily backup to the 914world database and the by far easiest way to do that is to bring down the server for 5 minutes and do a low level backup of the database instead of trying to cobble together a "live" backup. If there's enough of a window between midnight on the US west coast and early morning in Europe, that might be a good time to do that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

Build a '914World is down for backup' page and put a button 'I want in!'. Then just track how many times it's clicked. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) I think SixerJ is on to something, around 9-10am UTC would put most Americans in the snooze zone while most Europeans should be at work already. Unfortunately, that would put Australia and New Zealand right around 9pm or so. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
