Working on my transmission now and I lack the expertise to know if parts (syncros, slider, and dog teeth) are still serviceable.
Just wondering if everyone just replaces everything while they're in there. I know it's expensive, but is it worth the cost just to ensure I don't put bad parts back in? I found AutohauzAZ to have some of the best prices. Does anyone have a better parts supplier recommendation? |

I was just working on a pair of boxes & scavenging parts from another pair. All were for for most part complete but just removed & stored...of the 4 three were missing the little blocks on the throwout bearing, the other had only one!
Is this typical? Do they disintegrate? I need some~ |
