Cable must have come off. Removed bumper and found this

Take off little rubber plug in middle of triangle. (Must have been painted over). Insert flat blade screwdriver and wiggle/trust. Hood should pop.
It’s really important to lube all cables, latches, licks and hinges. Excessive force on any part causes problems. It’s easy to pull the flap off the outer door latch if you have to use force to open the door. Same with winding up the windows. Everything on our cars should be smooth and easy to pull. |
