I got a line on a decent 2.2T engine with the zenith carb , it is complete with 911 heat exchanger, fan and inside sheet metal for 1200$,, the base has 100K and the heads 4K, wanna replace my 1.7 d-jet ?? how many HP is it a good deal, should i jump on it

If it is a good running engine with both carbs it should be worth somewhere around $2k to $2.5k.
If it doesn't run or you can't see it run, it falls into the "core" category and is worth half that max. BTW the most beautiful noise I have ever heard was a 2.4 liter T engine, complete with MFI and a bursh muffler. That is what all sixes should sound like. |
