Hi all,
Trying to establish a fair market value of this factory 914-6 911 RS steering wheel. Factory numbers are 914 347 806 10 dated 4/70. The leather has dry cracks otherwise very clean. I also have in excellent condition the horn button. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Attached image(s) |

I agree, it is four cylinder steering wheel, we have at least 30 on the shelf in this condition, I would say 250 for a core value, to be restored. There is a place in Texas that does a great job restoring

Take a look at some of your cars if you don’t believe me. |

Thats what makes the early 4 banger wheels an easy score....it an 806 10 wheel with some plastic screwed to it. |

It’s not uncommon that wheels get moved from car to car. My early car came to me with a late wheel and early hub. It wasn’t built that way by Porsche. I have 20 early plastic hubs. If I add them to 803 or 806 wheels, it doesn’t make it an original four wheel. I agree that lots of parts are interchangeable but that doesn’t make them something else. |
