good story - lots of recycled & not always valid info - right away .... this pops out: ".. the 914/6 had a twin-carburetor 2.0-liter Porsche flat six tuned for 110 hp. (Some contemporary magazines erroneously reported horsepower figures of 85 and 125, ...) 110 - 125: that's simply the difference twixt DIN vs SAE horsepower reports from various magazines where the writers didn't understand the difference ? - dunno where that 85 came from ??? |
