Hello All,
I need a little help here. What the heck is an Outlaw? I have seen people talk about them and refer to them, but what's the story? I read an article a few years ago in VW&P about Outlaws, but all I remember is that they were tweaked cars, with funky paint. Oh yeah, and that red horse on the fender somewhere too. Any insight on this would be appreciated. - Joe |

I'm with Mikey on this one. A 9014 isn't an outlaw. It's a stupid, waste-of-money pile of trash. Seriously. Anybody who thinks a 9014 kit is an improvement or even a worthwhile thing to do should be shot.
Those convertibles are pretty lame IMHO too. I don't even know how they get any air to the engine when the top's down. Unless they do the conversion without a frame. Even worse--looks like cheap trash in that case. Look, outlaws are for the most part tasteful. Take a look at Gary Emory's site http://www.partsobsolete.com/outlaws.htm and you'll see some really nice examples of creativity and respect for the breed that doesn't come with some POS body kit conceived by a bunch of people on crack. End of rant. |
