Its been a bit off and on on the project for a wee while. Several areas worked and quite a bit of time but not that much to show.....
One area I am now happy with is the door cards. After struggling with the GT style opener strap and its passage through the door I decided I could not live with it as it was. Decided an exit through the card which followed the line of the strap was a better option and got a much better result. Fabricated an alloy surround etc. and then covered the card with Alcantara fabric. It now looks like this:- |
