Some time ago one of the restoration threads here included pictures of a 914 fuel tank that was done by tank specialist shop. There were pictures of the interior of the tank that showed a perfect uniform grey/bare metal surface. I'm hoping someone remembers and can direct me to that thread or the specialist that did the work. Anyone ? TIA Rory |

If you get it to bare metal, throw in a small bottle of MMO and rotate it around. The cleaner you get the metal, the quicker it will flash rust. At least here on the east coast.
