The car did great this weekend. We found a bunch more front end travel, which resulted in more front grip. Now I'm back to chasing rear end grip! With my co-driver (Evan) we were able to put the car at #4 for all Porsches and we were the only air cooled car out there.
Please do laugh at my inability to find 2nd gear. I put lighter springs in the 4-5 plane and paid for it... Aaron: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wLD4SDiQpo Evan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsV_YaIBMpU Side By Side: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoPJ7gpGl5U |

I run in the POC GT7/PCA CC07 class with 205-50-15 Hoosier A7's, Nice... The wide-body gives me an extra 15 inches on the width from stock so I race in D street prepared and that has a 200 treadwear rule i believe (SCCA). I have been running on snow tires (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (Firehawk A/S 225/50/16 something like 500 treadwear tires). Hoosiers would be much more fun. |
