Going to have my gas tank cleaned and coated. I'm guessing the silver colored washer shown in the picture is the bottom of the strainer / screen? How to remove it? Its stuck in there pretty good. Can I pry out with a small screwdriver or grab with pliers and pull. Didn't want to get too crazy on it and damage the adjacent threads.
Any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Ed |

Thin screwdriver under the lip to pry it free will work as well.
