Tony's roller! Liz wanted to build one instead of buy one running, so Nico and I conspired to surprise her:

Strip shell to bare metal. Blue paint to match either Kelly's /4 or Joe Sharp's /6. Narrow body. 2.7 or 3.0 w/CIS 901 tranny 5-bolt w/A Carrera calipers in the front and /6 stock brakes in the rear. Early bumpers in either fiberglass or chrome. Cookies, Fuchs or Boxter wheels. Whatever seats will accommodate Nico. Of course, these are my ideas for the build (except paint color, that's Nico's). We're going to try to drive this car to WCC06, so we'll have to get right on it. Liz and I will sit down for a couple of hours when I get home to set the direction for the details. I want to do the full build for less than $20k. |
