Anyone know if there are companies making odd shaped LCD/TFT screens? It would seem to be easy enough to do, but I've never seen one.

You can get whatever you want made. Its just $$$ and quantity. Off the shelf, I doubt you will find what you want. The next question though is what are you trying to display? Any custom TFT/LCD will need a driver written for them. Unless, you pay for that too.
