I have a 75 914 and would like to convert to 5 lug wheels. A buddy of mine has calipers, spindles and rotors of a 1990 C2. Will this be a direct bolt up conversion to my stock 914 front suspension? If not it is difficult to make this work? What is needed? Thanks.

about the only thing that is common with the pre-'89 911's and the '89 to '94 964s is the 5x130 bolt pattern, the hard parts are totally different with how they mount to the car.
I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but I'd have to say someone would have to get pretty creative (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) |
