This pic reminded me of Joe's lament over the surface conditions he faced at his last AX. These are different problems, but present their own challenges. Now you know why I don't run my car real low.

Reminds me of a visit to Cincinatti and participating in the local AX club's event.
They used a parking lot at a factory or something. It had islands, buildings, and some drainage areas. Part of the course involved going around 3 sides of a building where you had to thread your car between the building and a big shipping container full of trash. One car (a WRX IIRC) went off of the course and into a drainage ditch. He just kept going. Kinda cool. Fun nonetheless. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif) |
