The '71 has engine turned aluminum sill guards. They extend from under the speaker housings to halfway along the door opening, from the top edge of the sill to the floor, and are held on with slot headed screws.
Anyone know if these were period accessories, or something more recently kluged together? |

Yeah, I have the engine turned dash plates too! Unfortunately, some weenie peeled back the center section 'removing' a radio. It is now trash. I also realized that when the roll cage goes in, the spiffy sill plates have to go. |
