Fool went out to the garage to get in a little work on the 914 before real work. Sprayed PB Blaster on a bunch of stuff in preparation for an engine drop Sat. Gonna do the cone screw at the tranny. Loosened and moved the black rubber cover and a cup of cold water dumped on my stomach. Shoulda stayed in bed. Hope the rest of the day isn't like that.

grease? you must be looking hard for it. i wonder how the water got in? the plan was to come over on sat. list; floor jack, dolly, the correct ratchet tool for the bolts on the cv's, the correct hex drive for the trans drain plugs (you can hold on to it for a while), a couple of old licience plates to help slide the fuel rails thru the engine shelve. how early do you want to start? we are both up while it's the middle of the night.
