Out of interest does anyone know what gauge steel the 914 was built out of?

hilow,

they used .75mm for fenders and similar chassis parts and 1mm for those parts which need additional
strenght like longitudinals, etc .

In those cases where as well 1 mm was not sufficient, 2 or 3 layers of metall were used.
