Finished the tiles......still dirty, ran out of mopping beer.....no motivation.

Cool - thanks. I'm thinking the flourescents are prolly fine but the PO here only installed 4, twin-tube fixtures for a "2+1" bay garage (partial wall in between). From what I know of the PO, he was not exactly the DIY type who spent any significant time in the garage.... I replaced the bulbs with a mix of HD shop bulbs and full-spectrum "sunlight" bulbs, which helped but not enough.

Could be worse -- I think the stock builder setup was a single incandescent bulb (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
