The Vintage Auto Racing Association is having their annual Porsche-Alfa Shootout in Las Vegas November 1 - 2. Is anybody else going to be here?

QUOTE(Scott Carlberg @ Oct 29 2003, 09:51 AM) My *home* tracks are Laguna Seca & Sears Point What is the Vegas Speedway like? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif) (I'm just jealous that you have such great tracks so close.) The new outside Vegas track is fantastic! The transitions to the new areas do need a little work. I am looking forward to the next race here. My times in my 4 cyl. were 2:12's. The fast 6's were doing 2:05's. The inside road course is also great to drive. The rent is very high so club racing does not use it often. There is also a track in Pahrump called Spring Mountain Motor Sports Park. It is the home for Bragg Smith driving school. It is the bussiest track I have ever been on. It is also the only one in the area with any elevation changes. QUOTE what size of wheels and tires are you guys all running. brant The biggest ones that are class legal. 15 x 7 wheels with 205-50's on the front and 225-50's on the rear. QUOTE that 959 bodied car is Carl's old siverstate car And man does it sound sweet. Carl was at the track on Saturday. He is still having some problems with his arm.
