I used a carpet called Detroit loop. (or it might have been American loop) It looks quite similar to the original German loop but the price was almost 1/5th. It is a bit darker than the German but great for a daily driver. I did my whole car, made new floor mats and had an apolsterer (sp) sew the piping were ever it was on the originals all for $100 CAN. ($80 for the carpet that I cut out myself and $20 for the sewing) thats about $65US.
