I've got a set of struts that are off my car that I want to remove the balljoints from. These are the 911 type Boge struts that are not the clinch nut type. The pins are removed. Should the balljoint just pull off or is it pressed in. Any tips on removing them would be appreciated.
Thanks, Kev |

They are not pressed in. I usually replace them if I remove them. In such a case I don't care if I tear up the boots. I use a pickle fork.
